The date for Lurbel’s 2019 mountain festival is now set. The first weekend of April 2019 will see the return of the fiercest competition and a full schedule of sporting and leisure activities at the Lurbel Mountain Festival in Yeste, Albacete.
After six editions as Lurbel Challenge, the event, promoted by Lurbel, has opted for a conceptual and graphic restyling under the name Lurbel Mountain Festival, in order to go a step further in its leisure and sporting spirit. In this respect, the aim is to widen the range of adventure and leisure activities on offer, for young and old alike.
The toughest competition
The epicentre of the event will still be in Yeste, right in the middle of the Calares del Mundo y de la Sima National Park in Albacete. This is a place where stereotypes about the flat landscapes of La Mancha are wiped out, and where demanding sporting events of the highest level are devised, thanks to highly mountainous terrain and various river valleys such as the Segura and the Tus.
Running, walking or pedalling
Enjoyment and strenuousness are guaranteed in equal measure for runners, hikers and mountain bikers alike, with distances suited to different crowds of varying abilities.
